Restoring forests in the Charvak Reservoir catchment to avoid downstream erosion and sedimentation, reduce flooding and mass movements, enhance quality water supply and recreation, improve forest regeneration systems, and test innovative tree species and stock types

Demonstrate and document opportunities and restrictions for active and productive forest management to address issues for improving society sustainability and independence from using fossil fuels and energy intensive materials.
